Penny is a level 3 triathlon coach working with a ride range of people taking part in triathlon for fitness and fun. She helps people working towards their first 5km through to people racing their 10th Ironman. As a keen triathlete and runner herself she’s experienced her fair share of injuries which has taught her the importance of good movement and technique across all disciplines. A series of ongoing running injuries took her to The Running School for help. This journey enabled her to get back to running pain free and she has now returned to training and Ironman racing. She has been working full time as a triathlon coach since 2012 and trained as a Certified Running Technique Specialist with The Running School in 2018. She believes that running is a skill that can be taught and with the right help anyone can learn to run well and without injury.
