Josef Pace is the owner of PhysioPoint Malta and Director of Rehabilitation within Da Vinci Health. He qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Malta in 2001, furthered his studies at Masters level in Musculoskeletal Medicine, is a certified MSK Sonographer through the University of East London and has recently satisfied all the criteria to become a Certified Running Technique Specialist (CRTS) through The Running School UK. Since 2014 Josef Pace was appointed Head Physiotherapist of Swieqi United Football Club and in 2015 he set up the Emergency Department Physiotherapy Service within Mater Dei Hospital were he works as Lead Physiotherapist.

The drive to become a CRTS came from years of research and training to identify the best way to solve longstanding injuries for people who would have given up in the hope of finding a solution to their problems. Having been exposed to the benefits of this method through a colleague who went through this process of certification and managed to solve complex issues he decided to look into the benefits and underlying concepts of this method of rehabilitation. The CRTS method which apart from giving one the ability to correct the running technique and improve performance is founded on the underlying concept of Dynamic Movement Skills (DMS) a technique which stimulates the Nervous System which is fundamentally the key factor in the whole process of this innovative technique. Results speak for themselves!

Apart from being heavily involved in the sports scene Josef has a passion for the advancement and improvement of dance performance and injury prevention in this highly demanding physical discipline. He is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) and has a keen interest in improving the physical management of the dance scene both locally and on an international level.
