"Lola not only ran the Great North Run Junior race but was somehow booked onto the 4k race instead of the 1.5k (you have to be at least 9 to do the 4k and Lola is still only 8!!) but…..she didn't stop and ran it in 28 mins, coming 360 out of 590! She is so pleased with herself and so are we! Ken, her Dad, ran around with her and said she paced herself nicely, had good running style, and didn't wear herself out too quickly!"
